Starting from January 27, 2020, the cost of a patent will change for the work of foreign employees.
Since January 1, 2020, in connection with the entry into force of the law of St. Petersburg No. 589-128 of 26.11.2019 “on establishing a coefficient reflecting the regional characteristics of the labor market in St. Petersburg for 2020”, the amount of fixed advance payment for a patent for a foreign citizen’s work in St. Petersburg was 4000 rubles.
Order of the Ministry of economic development of the Russian Federation of December 10, 2019 No. 793 “About making changes to the order of the Ministry of economic development of the Russian Federation of October 21, 2019 No. 684″ About setting deflator coefficients for 2020 ” changed the value of the deflator coefficient from 1,813 to 1,810, which will change the value of the work patent for foreign citizens in all regions of the Russian Federation.
The order is registered in the Ministry of justice on 15 January 2020, the order is published on the “Official Internet-portal of legal information” (www.pravo.gov.ru) 16 January 2020 and will come into force on 27 January 2020.
In this regard, from January 27, 2020, the amount of a fixed advance payment for a patent for a foreign citizen’s work in St. Petersburg will be 3993 rubles.
